Director of Ed, Supports Proposed Trans-Fat Ban

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board isn’t worried about the
introduction of Legislation that could ban trans-fat foods in School
Cafeteria’s.
Director of Education Janet Wilkenson they already offer Subway at
Dryden High School and notes private company’s run other cafeterias with healthy choices available.
Wilkenson says they always strive to improve the health
of Northern students and she fully supports the proposed Legislation.
