Dispute Erupts in Ignace Area

An Ignace area outfitter is outraged with Abitibi-Bowater stressing the Company is crippling his business.
Cliff Long of Cobblestone Lodge says the main road to his camp has been destroyed by heavy machinery conducting work in the area.
Long says guests can no longer access his camp and claims the company has no intention of fixing the road.
Long has barricaded the road and refuses to leave until the road is fixed.
Company Spokesperson Sue Prodianiuk says the contractor has been pulled from the area.
She says they want to fix the problem and hope to reach a suitable agreement with Long.
