Distracted Driving Campaign Continues

Police across the region are in the midst of their distracted driving campaign.

Officers are out in full force to ensure you are paying attention.

OPP Superintendent Tony Cricilli says distracted driving has become the leading cause of fatalities on Ontario highways.

The fine for is $490, plus three demerit points.

Cricilli says they want to see everyone develop and maintain a complete intolerance to distracted driving, and to make it socially unacceptable.
