Doctors and their patients are taking part in a “virtual day of action” aimed at the Liberal government.
At 1:00 central Thursday, the Ontario Medical Association is using social media to launch a single message, expressing concern with recent funding cuts to physician services.
The OMA says fees have been cut 6.9% since February, just after the Association rejected the province’s latest offer on a new agreement.
President Dr. Mike Toth says those cuts threaten patients’ ability to access care when they need it the most.
