No one was injured in a house fire on Colonization Avenue last Friday afternoon.
Dryden Fire Service was contacted around 5:30 and crews spent 15-minutes controlling the flames.
The blaze was contained to the kitchen area and firefighters had to cut the ceiling and roof to extinguish the flames.
Officials say the cause is under investigation.
The home suffered heavy smoke, heat and water damage.
No one was home at the time, but a dog was rescued from the residence.
