Dogs Down Golden Hawks Again

For the second time in as many night special teams were the story as the Dryden Ice Dogs scored a 3-2 win over the K&A Golden Hawks in Dryden Saturday night. Kyle Schroeder scored short handed and Matt Tryhuba scored a man down and on the power play to stake the Ice Dogs to a 3-0 lead. The Golden Hawks scored 2 late third period goals to make things interesting but Ryan Crane held on to score the victory between the pipes making 20 saves. The Ice Dogs will face the Borderland Thunder at home Wednesday night.
