Dogs Lose Defensive Battle

Another tight checking, defensive battle, however this time a different result for the Dryden Ice Dogs.

The Ice Dogs dropped a 2-0 road decision Wednesday night against the Fort William North Stars in a game that mirrored Saturday’s thriller in Dryden.

Dan Usiski opened the scoring early in the first frame, before Travis Savard scored into an empty net late in the contest.

Dryden went 0-7 on the powerplay, while registering 29-shots in the contest.

Josh Baker made 40-saves for the Dogs.
