Dogs Stumble Late In 6-3 Loss

A third period collapse allowed the Fort Frances Lakers to skate to a 6-3 win over the Dryden GM Ice Dogs Tuesday night.

The first two periods were even with the Lakers taking a 3-2 lead into the third period.

However Fort Frances would grab a 6-2 lead in the final frame thanks to a power-play goal and a short-handed goal.

Jonathan Philley would score with the man advantage with 2-seconds left.

Before that Blake Berg and Zach Kercz found the back of the net.

Dryden GM outshot the Lakers 39-27, although a good chunk came late on a string of power-plays.
