The Dryden GM Ice Dogs are starting to show that they are the team to beat in the SIJHL.
The Ice Dogs led from start to finish in a 6-3 win over the Thief River Falls Norskies Friday to begin a three game road trip.
Jacen Bracko, Cory Dennis, Carson Lux, Tristan Simm, Ted Davis and Evan Walls scored the Dryden GM goals.
The Ice Dogs outshot the Norskies 43-24.
Dryden GM has now won five in a row against the league leaders and can take over top spot with a victory Saturday.
Meantime, English River returned to the ice with a more stable line-up, but that didn’t help in a 5-1 loss in Fort Frances.
Nic Herringer scores the lone Miners goal.
