Domtar is announcing that it has closed its deal with EACOM Timber Corporation.
In the deal, Domtar sold its forest products business for 80 million dollars Canadian.
The deal includes 5 operating sawmills and two non-operating saw-mills.
Included in the non-operating mills is the mill in Ear Falls.
The saw-mills have 3.5 million cubic meters of annual harvesting rights and a production capacity of close to 900 million board feet.
