Domtar Reducing Its Paper Making Capacity

Domtar has announced a permanent reduction of its paper making
capacity.
The company is shutting down its mill in Gatineau, Quebec and its
Converting Centre in Ottawa.
Domtar is also permanently closing 2-paper machines at Mills in
Maine and Wisconsin.
The closures will eliminate 284,000 tons of annual production
capacity and result in the loss of 430 jobs.
