Domtar says that it will restore a quarterly dividend in July for the first time in nearly 5-years with a 25-cent payment.
The Montreal-based company also told shareholders that it will initiate a 150-million dollar stock repurchase program.
The moves were approved by the board as the forest products company looks to reward shareholders while also preparing for strategic long-term investments in growth industries.
