Domtar’s 62nd Annual Conservation Camp Wraps Up

The Grade 9 students from Dryden High School are now back at home after Domtar’s 62nd Annual Conservation Camp.

The initiative had students learning at Blue Lake Provincial Park and the Wabigoon Sustainable Forest License Area.

Spokesperson Bonnie Skene says the camp was a very well thought out concept since its inception.

The camp features both indoor classroom segments as well as outdoor hands-on experience.

Skene also says they learn a lot about forestry, conservation and what the trappers do as well.
