Sergeant Donald McGogy from Dryden enlisted in the forces in 1943 and served under the RCA Anti Tank division.
Donald served in England, Central Mediterranean, France, Belgium and Holland, Italy, Germany and North Africa. He was awarded the 1939-1945 Star, the Italy Star, the France & Germany Star and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp.
Don was one of six brothers who fought in WWII; all returned home. Don’s birthday…November 11.
