Several Northern Ontario airline routes will soon be serviced by Wasaya Airways instead of Bearskin Airlines.
The two companies have announced that Wasaya has completed its purchase of Bearskin’s Northern assets.
Wasaya will take over scheduled passenger services to 21 First Nation communities north of Sioux Lookout and Red Lake.
The phase-in completion date is set for July 31st and services will be operated from Bearskin’s facilities at the Sioux Lookout Airport.
Finanical details have not been released.
