The Montague firearms case is back in the news.
Donna Montague of Dryden is scheduled to appear in Kenora Court next week as a judge hears the case regarding the forfeiture of firearms.
Donna’s husband Bruce was released from jail back in January after he served time for 26-firearm related charges.
Montague has been fighting the civil forfeiture of his Eaton-Rugby home, firearms and other property ever since.
Bruce Montague tells CKDR News that he has given up that fight and wants nothing to do with the case anymore.
Crown Attorney Peter Keen says 4-days of hearings have been set aside starting on Monday.
He notes the hearing is to do with the forfeiture of firearms only.
