As the dawn of another school year fast approaches, area
students may notice a big drop in their grades if they miss
assignment deadlines.
New Ministry of Education guidelines give teachers the green
light to give students zeros is they don’t get their assignments in on time.
Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation president Ken Coran says the idea is to improve student behaviour and work habits.
