Don’t Touch Sick or Injured Wildlife

Animal lovers need to resist temptation.
The Ministry of Natural Resources wants to remind everyone that if you see a sick or injured animal, to NOT remove it from its natural habitat.
Moving it could cause future harm, or it may not even need help.
The appropriate thing to do is contact the MNR, or the Canadian Cooperative Wildlife Health Center for dead animals.
However, if you do have to move it for a certain reason, wear protective gloves and wash your hands before and after handling the animal.
