Doris Augusta Davies

It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Doris Augusta Davies, age 71, of Dryden, on September 13, 2003, at her residence, with her family by her side. Doris Davies is survived by her husband Don; children Merrilee Giesbrecht (Rendal) of Altona, MB; Sherill Davies (Barry Foster) of Dryden; Greg (Susan) Davies of Dryden; Heather Rostek (Andy) of Thunder Bay and Vicki Shoguchi (Guy) of Dryden; sister Irma Siska (Eli) of Dryden; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorial services for Doris Davies will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dryden Community Funeral Home, with Legion Chaplin Rev. Mary Mennell officiating. A Legion Ladies Auxiliary Service and Rebecca Lodge Honour Guard to follow. Interment of ashes at a later date.
