Dorothy Selman

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Dorothy Rejina May (Luxton) Selman who passed away on June 30, 2002, at Thunder Bay Regional Hospital, with her family by her side. Dorothy was born to Albert and Pearl Luxton on August 31, 1925 in Nakina, Ontario. She was the eldest of 8 children, and the mother of 10 children. Dorothy Selman is survived by her children Russel (Lily) Luxton of Thunder Bay, Linda (Edward) Jewett of Dryden, Lori (Richard) Koshman of Insfield, Donald Zaparniuk of Fort Frances, Debbie (Phillip)Gosnell of Dryden, Larry Selman of Dryden, Elaine Selman of Fort Frances, Joyce (Andy) Butts of Dryden, and Dale Selman of Dryden. 18 Grand children, 23 great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends. Dorothy was predeceased by her son Ronald and her husband Clifford. Cremation has taken place. A Grave side Service will be held on Friday, July 26th, at 10 a.m. at Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances. Following the service, A Luncheon will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, in Fort Frances.
