The Ring of Fire mining project is top of mind for PC leader Doug Ford.
During a teleconference call with northern Ontario media Friday morning, Ford repeated if he has to get on a bull-dozer himself, he will.
Ford made reference to Kathleen Wynne who he claims only talks of action, stressing he will get the work done.
He says the project is comparable to the oil sands in Alberta, noting we have $60-million worth of chromite up there that’s waiting to be mined, but we can’t get up there.
Ford also pledged to cut government waste to pay for his promises and eliminate government red tape.
Ford says Ontario will be run like a business, attracting more companies to open their doors.
