Down Under Fire Personnel Visit Dryden

A forest fire management group from Australia and New Zealand is currently on a study tour of Canada and the United States.
The group visited the Dryden Fire Management Centre Wednesday.
Ian Christie, a parks representative from the State of Victoria, says many firefighting methods used in Ontario are similar to those used in Australia.
Christie calls the Canadian systems and organizational arrangements set up to battle blazes exceptional.
