Downtime at Kenora Forest Products

Another Northwestern Ontario Mill is deciding to take downtime.
The Kenora Forest Products Sawmill will be curtailing its operations
for an indefinite period starting February 28th.
Manager Rod McKay says the demand for stud lumber in the U.S. has all
but disappeared.
McKay adds they still plan to expand their operations and will return
to full capacity as soon as markets improve.
He notes the curtailment of all operations and its associated layoffs
are temporary.
