Downtime at Kenora Mill

Weyerhauser has announced its taking extended intermittent downtime at
the Timberstrand Mill in Kenora.
The Mill will take immediate downtime in the first quarter of this
year, resulting in the temporary lay-off of 100 associates.
The Company adds the plant will eliminate 41-positions.
Weyerhaeuser says demand for engineered wood products has declined due
to a slowdown in the housing market.
Officials say further downtime may be necessary in order to balance
production with demand.
