Plans are underway to spruce up Dryden’s downtown core, with the CP Rail crossing the first target.
A Winnipeg firm has been working with the steering committee on the initial phase of the project.
City Manager Arie Hoogenboom says they are looking at opportunities with the walking trail from Johnson’s Park to the Downtown core as well as the river area.
Hoogenboom says work can’t begin until they decide what projects are a priority but says work should be completed by mid-July.
Another meeting is planned for later this month.
Dryden Businessman Roy Wilson is financing the improvements.
