Dr. Stephen Viherjoki takes over the top position at the hospital.
He replaces Dr. Karen Mazurski who steps aside after 6-years as Chief of Staff.
Dr. Mazurski says she wanted to spend more time on her clinical practice.
CEO Wade Petranik says Mazurski did a remarkable job in a very challenging role.
Petranik says Mazurski put a lot of time and energy into the job.
He notes Mazurski has always been committed to providing the best level of care for her patients and the hospital.
