As the Northwestern Health Unit searches for a new Medical Officer of Health, the last in line is clarifying why she withdrew her application.
Dr. Monika Dutt made the announcement last Friday.
Dutt says organizational changes were made over the past couple of months that she didn’t agree with.
Dutt says she was excited to make the move but notes staffing changes made her rethink the decision.
Dutt was supposed to start in an acting capacity in January but she says it wasn’t until April that she received a contract.
