One of the most out-spoken and dedicated figures of the Northwestern
Health Unit is calling it quits.
Dr. Pete Sarsfield will retire in December, giving the Board of Health
an opportunity to find someone for one of the most difficult positions to
fill.
Sarsfield says he’s worked with a tremendous board and staff.

The 62-year-old Sarsfield says he’s starting to feel a bit weary and
believes its time for a change.
He also wants to spend more time on his second career as a writer.
