A long time problem at the Dryden Fire Hall may finally be fixed.
Renovations to the facility were completed in 2004 and Chief Building
Official Bob Cunningham says since that time water draining from the garage
to the trenches has been collecting because the Winnipeg based contractor
didn’t make the slope steep enough.
Cunningham says the contractor has responded to legal action and has
submitted an offer to correct a problem.
Cunningham hopes to have a local contractor fix the drainage issue by early
Summer.
He says the City was forced to take legal action after the
contractor failed to fix the problem last summer and last fall.
