Red Lake’s Ken Anderson is one loss away from being eliminated from the Northwestern Ontario Association Curling Playdowns in Terrace Bay.
Anderson’s rink fell to Lauchie Meagher of Manitouwadge 7-5 in Draw #3 Thursday afternoon.
He will try to stay alive Friday morning at 11:00 against Cory Nephin of Geraldton.
Draw #3 was not kind to the Dryden rink, skipped by Cam McMillan.
McMillan only lasted 6 ends before bowing to John Salo of Thunder Bay 8-3.
The Dryden squad is now bumped to a lower ladder and will be back on the ice Friday morning at 7:30.
