The Dryden Regional Health Centre is looking at improving privacy procedures.
New Federal rules have forced Hospitals to take a close look at the way patient records are handled.
DRHC Privacy Officer Robert Van Oort says they currently have protocols in place, but the new legislation gives them a chance to improve things.
Van Oort says a draft policy has been prepared and a final privacy act should be in place by March.
He stresses all staff will be briefed on the changes.
