Drilling Crew Leaving Big Trout

Residents of Big Trout Lake are happy to see an unwanted drilling
crew dismantle their camp and leave the area.
Band Spokesperson John Cutfeet says the Exploration Company Platinex
didn’t set up shop in a legal matter and was trespassing.
At the time of the crew setting up camp, there was a moratorium in the
area.
The community hopes the company will withdraw its legal threats to
sue for damages and take full responsibility for mobilizing the drilling
crew.
