Driver Hits Flagman and Runs Off

The OPP is looking for a motorist who struck a flagman on Highway 17, just west of Marathon.
Police say the incident occurred this morning (Monday) around 9:30 local time.
An eastbound vehicle struck the worker and the male driver fled the scene on foot.
The driver is said to be about 6 feet tall, heavy-set, dark complexion, with dark hair and a dark blue shirt and bluejeans.
The victim suffered serious injuries.
