A driver in medical distress is safe after a motor vehicle collision near Sioux Lookout.
Provincial Police say a vehicle was spotted Sunday crossing lanes, entering ditches and then driving back onto the highway.
Officers attempted to stop the vehicle near Moosehorn Road but the driver continued southbound on Highway 72.
The vehicle crossed the centre line into the east shoulder near Boat Launch Road.
Officers were then able to safely pin the vehicle on the shoulder of the road.
An investigation determined the driver was having trouble with a diabetic condition.
No one was injured but the police cruiser did suffer some damage.
