Drivers Encouraged To Buckle Up

Drivers are being encouraged to buckle up as police forces across the province launch their spring seatbelt campaign.
OPP will be checking vehicles from April 13th to the 27th.
The Red Lake Detachment has released some interesting results after a traffic survey was conducted in that area last fall.
The survey showed the percentage of drivers wearing seatbelts was as low as 46 percent in Ear Falls to as high as 86 percent in Balmertown.
The provincial average is about 92 percent.
