Drop In Charges Issued By Red Lake Area OPP

The number of charges laid by Provincial Police in Red Lake, Ear Falls and Pikangikum went down significantly last week.

Only six charges were laid under the Criminal Code.

That’s a drop from 46 in the last report.

Calls for service were up however with officers responding to 299 complaints.

That’s up from 253.

Here is a breakdown on calls:

-R.I.D.E.: 2
-Traffic hazard: 2
-Disturb the peace: 2
