Ontario Provincial Police in Sioux Lookout are reporting a drug bust in that community.
On Friday, October 20th the OPP, Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau and the Northwest Region Emergency Response Team performed a search warrant at a residence in Sioux Lookout.
During the investigation 382 grams of cocaine, 332 grams of marihuana, a set of brass knuckles and over $260 000 dollars in Canadian Currency was seized.
As a result of investigations, 20-year-old Emery Southwind of Sioux Lookout has been charged with Possession of substances for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000 and unauthorized possession of a weapon.
Southwind is appearing for a bail hearing today.
