The Nishnawbe Aski Police say they have seized about 260 thousand dollars of illegal drugs at the North Spirit Lake airport.
They’ve also charged a 38-year-old man from Winnipeg with two counts of trafficking.
The investigation began this past Sunday, when police were contacted about two suspects in came on a flight from Winnipeg.
Police say they seized crack cocaine and oxycodone.
A 25-year-old woman from North Spirit Lake was also arrested, but charges against her are still pending.
