Drug Bust In Couchiching First Nation

Two people from Couchiching First Nation have been charged for drug trafficking.

Officers with the Street Crimes Unit seized over $5,000 worth of cocaine, oxycodone, heroin, hydromorphone and some Canadian currency from a home in the community.

Police say 50 year old Clint Perreault faces a number of charges including trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, flight from police, resisting arrest and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

28 year old Jodi Kabatay faces a couple of counts for possession.
