Drug bust on Seine River First Nation

The Treaty Three Police Service Drug Unit with assistance from the Ontario Provincial Police have seized a number of drugs on the Seine River First Nation.

Police executed a search warrant Monday and found a quantity of Hydromorphone, crack cocaine and Oxycodone.

Over $6,000 in cash, a loaded handgun, ammunition, and other items related to drug trafficking were seized.

A 22 year old man remains in police custody and faces a long list of charges including several firearm and drug trafficking charges.

Meanwhile, a 54 year old woman also faces drug trafficking related charges.

She has been released from custody and will appear in court in March.
