Dryden pair faces drug trafficking charges

Ontario Provincial Police have made several arrests following a lengthy investigation.

On Tuesday, police stopped a vehicle heading east from the Manitoba border on Highway 17.

An undisclosed quantity of cocaine was discovered.

The driver of the vehicle, a 44-year-old man from Dryden, faces drug trafficking charges along with possession of the proceeds crime under $5000.00.

The passenger, a 29-year-old woman from Dryden, also faces drug trafficking charges.

They are currently in custody and are due to appear again in the Ontario Court of Justice on Thursday.
