Ontario Provincial Police in Ignace have arrested a Thunder Bay woman for drug related charges.
On Friday, March 3rd at approximately 11:52pm, OPP say they were investigating an incident where a car was stuck 20km west of Ignace.
Officers say they found around $15 000 along with pills in the vehicle.
Police say as a result of the investigation, 45 year old Sherri McQueen has been charged with:
Fail to Comply with a Recognizance contrary to Section 145(3) of the Criminal Code
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000.00 contrary to the Criminal Code
Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of Trafficking contrary to Section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act.
OPP say McQueen was held in custody and will appear in Dryden court on Wednesday March 8, 2017.
