Drug Possession Charges in Weagamow

A drug bust on the remote First Nation reserve of Weagamow Lake, northwest of Pickle Lake.
OPP executed a search warrant at a home on Wednesday.
Officers located a quantity of Oxycontin pills, marijuana, cash and drug paraphernalia.
33-year-old Linda Adams and 29-year-old Jake Meekis, both of Weagamow Lake, have been charged with 2-counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
