Drug trafficking charge laid on Lac Seul

An impaired driving charge has also led to a drug trafficking charge on the Lac Seul First Nation.

Last Thursday night around 8:30, the Lac Seul Police spotted a vehicle on the side of the road.

The driver was passed out.

She was taken to the Lac Seul Police Detachment for testing.

Also, as a result of their investigation officers seized some methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and about 17 hundred dollars in cash.

The 23-year-old woman faces trafficking charges and was released to appear in Sioux Lookout Court on June 24th.
