Drug trafficking charges laid in Fort Frances

A 39 year old man faces a number of charges, including drug trafficking, after police stopped a vehicle this week.

The OPP say they pulled over the vehicle on Third Street West in Fort Frances.

Officers found the driver was under suspension at the time.

Further investigation resulted in three trafficking charges, one charge of possession of a weapon and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

He’s due to appear in court in May.
