Drugs Seized at Sioux Lookout Airport

An attempted transport of drugs from Sioux Lookout to Big Trout Lake has been thwarted.
OPP received information about the move and officers attended the Sioux Lookout Airport to speak with the suspect.
Police arrested a 22-year-old woman and officers seized $1,000 worth of oxycontin.
OPP say Gena Marie Beardy of Big Trout Lake faces one count of possession.
