A point of pride for a Dryden accounting student.
Candace Nason has passed this year’s country wide Uniform Evaluation, which is considered one of the most challenging entry exams.
Perry Jensen is a spokesperson for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, and says Nason is the only person from the Dryden area to pass.
He adds she went through the 3-day testing process which covers taxes, investments and business planning.
Once she finishes the required 30-month experience placement, she will become a chartered accountant.
