The Dryden Ice Dogs are off to their second straight Bill Salonen Cup.
The Dogs booked their ticket to the SIJHL Final on home ice Monday evening, with a 4-1 win over the Fort Frances Lakers.
Dryden scored three times on special teams, with Dwight Lee scoring once on the power-play and once short-handed, while Jesse Linner found the back of the net short-handed.
Thomas Greene scored five-on-five.
Ian Perrier was outstanding in between the pipes, making 45-stops, including 25 in the third period.
This will be Dryden’s sixth trip to the Championship in its 10 year history, with the Ice Dogs winning in 2002 and 2006.
Dryden will face Wisconsin in the Best-of-7 Final.
