The City of Dryden plans to lobby the Provincial Government to improve the state of the Highway system in Northwestern Ontario.
Councilor Mel Fisher’s resolution was approved Monday night and will be passed along to the Minister of Transportation.
Fisher says additional rest stops and expanding the road are among the recommendations.
Dryden is also asking for the speed limit to be increased by 10-kilometres an hour.
Fisher says most travelers are going stateside because of the state of our Highway’s.
