Dryden Battles Hard in Cold Conditions

Mother nature could be credited with the win Wednesday afternoon in High School Soccer at Harry McMaster Field.

The Dryden Girls and Kenora Broncos played to a 0-0 tie, with Jasmine Traini earning the shutout.

Earlier in the day, Dryden blanked Fort Frances 2-0, with Maddison Kluke and Lauren Shoguchi scoring.

Tamara Duncan posted the shutout.

The Dryden Boys showed a lot of heart battling back to tie Kenora 2-2.

The Eagles erased a 2-0 deficit thanks to goals from Matt Bartlett and Daniel Arndt.

The first game for the Blue and Gold didn’t go as planned as the Eagles fell to Fort Frances 6-1.

Caleb Eshbach scored the lone goal.

The games were played in high wind and bitter cold conditions.
